Sonatina

The publishing house Panton in Prague, the leading publisher of new Czech music, also focusses on publishing easily playable music for lessons. The sonatina by the Prague composer Ivan Kurz (born in 1947) can well be mastered by young advanced players if they have some knowledge of polyrhythm (2 against 3) and octave playing. Three movements full of brio in the tempos fast - slow - fast are suitable for lessons and the competition 'Jugend musiziert'.
