Carnival Pieces For Flute Choir

These five pieces focus on the flute choir's ability to emulate the sound of the calliope, a steam organ often found in carnival settings or on old riverboats. The composition consists of five character movements, each invoking the spirit of a quirky carnival: (Big Top Parade, Dance of the Blue Bear, A Tilted Carousel, The Lonesome Clown, Vanishing Magician).
